Giving

Are you looking for ways to demonstrate your support to Trinity MCC and God’s work here?  Are you wanting to share your skills, interests and blessings to further Trinity’s message of God’s Inclusive Love? It’s as easy as 123.

1. Time

Just being here each Sunday for Worship is a great way to show your faith and love. Your smile and friendly greeting goes a long way to make guests feel at home and build lasting connections and friendships. Be Love. Be Here. If you are online, post your greetings in the comment section and share our worship services with your friends.

2. Talent

We all have hidden talents, even you!  Why not share them here at Trinity? Whether you are musical, technical, the hostess with the mostess, or somewhere in between, if you want to help, we have a job for you!  Just ask Pastor Curtis.

3. Treasure

If God has blessed you with abundance, consider giving above your regular tithes and offerings to either the Building Fund or Benevolence Fund. To do so simply mark your offerings accordingly.

Online Giving

Trinity MCC now has an online giving option that is easy and secure.  You can choose to give a one-time offering or set up Automatic Recurring Donations.  Your ongoing generosity and faithfulness to Trinity MCC helps us to focus on God’s call to be Christ’s Love in the Heart of the Metroplex.

I encourage all of you to pray about how God is calling you to give and be a faithful and obedient steward in our mission of making disciples. In 2 Corinthians Paul gives us a great reminder of the call of stewardship to the Church. He says these words:

“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:6-8 NIV)

For more information, ask Pastor Curtis.

Here are some other ways you can show your love and support to the community…

Food Pantry

AIDS Outreach Center’s Nutrition Center is always in need of regular size canned goods (fruit, soup, veggies, peanut butter, etc.).  Please bring your food donations on the first Sunday of each month.

Ana’s Baskets

SafeHaven is continuing to collected cleaning supplies for women who leave the shelter and start new homes. Bring the items (including laundry baskets) to Trinity MCC, for these women and their families. Gift cards are also accepted.  See flyer for lists of items.
