Dear Trinity MCC Family and Friends,
Since our move from our rental space that was 933 East Avenue J, Trinity MCC has landed at the Grand Prairie Municipal Airport! (Get it, “landed” as in landing a plane on the runway?) You still have the choice to join us in person or online and we know your spirits will be lifted. (Another aviation pun?) Since the move and now that more of you have received your Covid vaccinations, our weekly attendance has really taken off. Yet, we still have missed many of you and know you will be a sight for soar eyes.
I promise my sermons will not be plane or Boeing. You can be assured I am not winging it, as I pray that Jesus is my copilot, who navigates me as we look at our weekly Bible passages. We aim to be Christ’s Love in the Heart of the DFW Metroplex as we leave our baggage at the foot of the Cross.
Don’t ask me to stop with all these aviation jokes, that could be a soar subject. I love airplane and airport jokes, but, they always seem to go over people’s heads.
